Cannabis New Brunswick Reports Fourth Quarter Results
Cannabis New Brunswick is a subsidiary of the NB Liquor Corporation, and manages retail sales of legal recreational cannabis for the Province of New Brunswick. Its core focus is youth protection, reducing the illicit market and public education. CNB operates 20 stores across the province, providing a range of products and a one on one guided retail experience.
The fourth quarter saw continued progress on the company’s model evolution strategy. The company’s retail footprint expanded as it opened a pop-up store in uptown Saint John, which was built to complement the container village being offered this summer by Area 506. The company also welcomed its third FarmGate partner and first private retail partner locations, enhancing access and availability of products for consumers.
In addition to these new retail locations, the company continued to offer a variety of educational programs for young people and adults. Through its education fund, the company awarded bursaries and scholarships to support the academic and learning ambitions of ANBL/CNB team members and their families.

It also continues to invest in community safety. With financial support from Cannabis NB, MADD Canada has been able to bring its Weed Out The Risk program to schools across the province. The program, developed by Springboard with additional content from MADD Canada, teaches students about the dangers of driving while impaired by cannabis and the risks associated with being a passenger in a vehicle driven by an impaired driver. ANBL/CNB is committed to the success of this important public health initiative and will continue to contribute to the work being done by MADD Canada to educate students about cannabis and impaired driving.
